Work Experience:

James is a musculoskeletal physiotherapist with a master's degree and has been registered since 2014. Over the past years, James has practiced physiotherapy throughout Australia, including Port Lincoln, SA; Perth, WA; Broken Hill, NSW; and now Melbourne. His previous experiences have seen him work with a diverse range of patients presenting a variety of different conditions, including NDIS participants, older generations, employees of fishing and mining companies and sportspeople from the Port Lincoln Netball Association as well as supporting the Western Australia Football League Perth Demons' physiotherapy team. Notably, his high level of service and professionalism lead him to be appointed the preferred physiotherapist for the large fishing company Cleanseas. The overwhelming amount of positive feedback from previous patients and colleagues has given James the confidence to start his own business, allowing him to focus on building the best patient-orientated service through his mobile practice.

Passion for the field:

James is passionate about working with diverse clinical presentations and he has a special interest in musculoskeletal/chronic pain management. James has a strong commitment to continuing education to provide solutions that are not only effective but also realistic and achievable. These include evidence-based methods, combined with exercise prescription and hands-on treatment, to help individuals reach their short and long-term goals. James takes the time to listen to individuals’ stories with empathy and patience. He believes nothing is more rewarding than helping individuals resume the activities/hobbies that they love to do.

Hobbies:

In his free time, James enjoys exploring Melbourne's many attractions, such as the Royal Botanic Garden, the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI), IMAX cinema, and stand-up comedy shows. Furthermore, he is actively involved in volunteering with Falls Active LiFE, a local program dedicated to preventing falls among the elderly.
